I have to give this 5 stars simply because Miss 3 (ASD) absolutely ADORES her box set of Scooby Doo phonics. She has plenty of books but she returns to these over and over again. If she had her way we would read the entire box set at bedtime. There's several sentences per page so it actually does take a while. After about 7 books in a row then I'm about done :) I enjoy them too tbh, I loved watching Scooby Doo when I was a kid.

This is a classic Scooby-Doo book that takes a lovable, well-known character and turns it into an educational learning experience. This particular book focuses on plurals using words such as "witches" and "ghosts". The content was not as intriguing as it should be to make the lesson really stick. Also, I feel that "ghosts" is a hard word to pronounce for young children, so it's excessive usage could cause discouragement among struggling readers.

This is a beginning reader book highlighting "plurals" Very basic wording and easy to read for beginning readers. but a few words are harder (in my opinion) for a beginning reader. Not your typical Scooby Doo book; but enough to try and get a young reader involved in trying to enjoy books.
