When twelve-year-old, Nicole, is forced to go to a new school, nothing goes right. She swallows her contacts, throws up on the boy she likes, and looks like a dork in front of Sara, the girl she wants to be friends with most. Nicole faces one horrible (but funny!) problem after another.

Then, right when Nicole is finally making friends and fitting in at her new school, a m

It was an interesting book, but I didn't really like the start. She throws up on two different people, and that wasn't exactly fun. But, I did like the part when the Slumber Party Wars started because it was funny to read about what one side would do/try to do to the other side. My favorite character is Greta because I felt bad for her and how people made fun of her. ...more

Best book ever!
I give it infinity stars!!!!
totally recommend for drama readers! Daring, with a hint of sour! I loved it
Why 5 stars? - For my daughter. I was thinking of my daughter reading this. She is 10 and I thought about what good messages it had. While it wraps up a little too neatly (my middle school girl drama was meaner), you really do like the characters and the trouble they get themselves into.

Are the characters well developed? No, its a middle school read. But its perfect for the 10 year old.
Is the plot clever? It is actually. Pretty cute too, and it has real-life situations. And possible solutions ho

I would recommend this book to people who are in middle school, and around that age. It was hilarious, enticing, enjoyable and original.

It was okay, I guess

No typos or anything, but there was nothing about this book that would make me recommend it. Pacing was erratic, ending was abrupt, characters were shallow and details were inconsistent. Adults did not behave like adults. For one, if this girl was a brownie last year who on earth is letting her go prank someone's house at night this year?

The best

this book is amazing I love it since I can relate to how much fun Nicole and her friends have
this is a book about a young girl facing everyday problems while hanging with her friends every weekend

This was a good book! I liked the plot and the characters a lot! However, the small stories kind of took me by surprise. I would rather have a whole novel instead of small aside stories. Overall this was a good book that described a nice friendship that also incorporated humor.

This book helps you understand not to lie.

I love this book so much. It helps you understand that its not okay to lie about something that's not true because, it will come back and get you.

“As I snapped pictures, Nina gave me a dirty look. I just laughed, acting as though I didn’t care. But inside I felt sort of differently. She used to be my good friend. It made me feel funny. Sad. Now she gave me dirty looks and did mean things to my house. To tell you the truth, it hurt. Later,” 0 likes
“Nina flutters her eyelashes at Justin. “Here’s the cookies Nicole promised you in her note. We made them together,” she lies, fluttering her eyelashes some more. Justin takes the cookies from her. “Thanks.” He watches her silently, tilting his head. “You have something in your eye?” She immediately stops fluttering and starts twirling her hair” 0 likes
