He was just looking for a night of fun.

After a wild work-sponsored Halloween party, entomologist Sam McLean wakes up with a spotty memory--and a pointy set of fangs. Sam's one-night stand wasn't just dressed as a vampire; she had the bite to match. Somehow, Sam's unconscious body ends up at the OOPS office, where paranormal crisis counselors Nina, Marty and Wanda give him

The girls are back this time with a strange vampire dropped on the doorsteps of the OOPs office. Other than having one crazy work party Sam wakes up in a dress after a one night stand to find out he's a vampire. As if that's not enough one of the councilors sisters just so happens to show up and he bites her butt. Now a stranger Phoebe is a vampire thanks to an accident but that's not all they aren't like any of the vampires in the area.

As the group deals with the surprise new vampires Nina has

I really liked this one I lot. It was fun that it started out seeming like the typical goofy paranormal romance, just another book in the series with the familiar friends bickering and lots of silliness. But then there are twists. Several good twists, and layers. For one thing, there was Phoebe, who wasn't the fluffy Barbie she appeared to be. She had substance and steel, a temper and a lot of passion. And a big secret of her own. And I really liked the idea of how Phoebe and Same were actually ...more

This one would have been better for me had abrasive Nina not been so front and center. I have grown tired of her and how she swears worse than a sailor and hates everything.

I did like both Sam and Phoebe and found it interesting that they both were hiding big things. I laughed with how Sam made Phoebe a vampire, I would hate to admit how it happened had it been me.

I think the best part of the book was the epilogue. It showed how everyone in the series is just one big family.

I have adored every Dakota Cassidy book until this one. Accidentally Dead,Again seemd forced. It did not flow like her previous work. I wouldn't reccommend this book except to die hard fans. Soory,Dakota! Love ya but this was a bomb.

I have loved the other books in the series, but I really couldn't get into this one. I figured I needed to read to meet/get-to-know the new characters so that I could continue following along, but it was painful.

Frustrated. Cassidy got sloppy in this one and I can't tell if it was just REALLY poor editing, if she was wanting to finish the series and was told no, or if this is the downward decline that happens when you try to make a series last longer than it should. Some mixed up details, some repeated thoughts/conversations that clearly were not meant to be repeated. Sentences that are cut off/were on a different tangent/meant to be expounded but then left hanging. As usual, the story was out-there par ...more

I found this on the dollar rack. This was fun and very much like a soap opera of the vampire variety. Very fast paced but the overload of cliches really dimmed the book.

Predictable, as ever, with similar plot lines as the other books in the series. Cozy read with fun characters, there was less of the obnoxious Nina crap after the initial opening... she was toned down a lot. I hope it stays that way.

There's nothing I can say that I haven't already said about this series. It's one of my favorites, and this book was a great addition to it. I laughed often and got teary-eyed a few times at the end. I'm a happy reader right now. :)

Managed ONE chapter before I decided to tape up the 50 cent copy I'd just been given and put it down. I will send it to my SIL in the hopes that she will enjoy it more than I did as this is closer to her genre than mine.

Engaging cast of characters.

The story has an action packed storyline with an engaging cast of characters and evil doers. Along with almost impossible solutions to their predicaments. Yet it all works!

Grade: B+

“I was the baddest ass in the land from kindergarten right up until graduation, buddy. You’re really giving your nerd prowess some serious ego. I hear a lot of hype, but I’m not seeing a lot of proof. Your serve, ninja geek.”

Sam McLean never thought going to a Halloween party for work would turn his life upside down and inside out. After a fuzzy night with a beautiful woman Same ends up at OOPS headquarters, still dress

I'm head over heels for this author, I cannot get enough of her Accidental Series! Though, albeit I've only read the 5th and 6th book in the series, I'm craving to read the rest of them! And once we found out who the madman was with creating these new and improved vampires (for the most part, as they were keen to die horribly after a time) I'm dying to pick up the first book and read Marty's story! Accidentally Dead, Again is the sixth book in the fun paranormal romance Accidentally Friends series by Dakota Cassidy. He wakes up in in the office of OOPS- where Wanda, Nina, and Marty help new members of the paranormal fold deal with their new status. Can't say I was as impressed with Accidentally Dead, Again as I was with Accidentally Dead. This one moved too slow and Nina's attitude and foul mouth actually got on my last nerve this time around.

The shit has hit the pervibial fan. When Sam McLean wakes up in the office of OOPS after a Halloween party, he has no idea how he got there, but after a display right out of a Hollywood movie, he knows that the things that go bump in the night are real and that he's just joined their ranks. While he's getting used to the idea of it all, in walks the woman destined to make him crazy. Phoebe Reynolds has come to the OOPS office to find her sister Nina. She was forewarned about Nina and that the ne ...more

Well... the plot was awesome... maybe the best plot this series as ever had... it has double agents, secrets, FBI, CIA, a bunch of other acronyms, and a strange virus running through the vampire world... and yet... the characters kind of bomb, at least for the first half of this book... it was so bad that I struggled to get through the first half... in fact I only did it so I could give it a review... the characters were just unrealistic... Nina, Marty, and Wanda were like an over told joke that ...more

Once again our outrageous ladies from OOPS (Out in the Open Paranormal Support) find themselves assisting a newly turned vampire. Wonderfully nerdy Sam McLean wakes up with a set of fangs from a one night stand after a Halloween party gone wrong. While the lovely ladies are trying to figure out how to deal with this unexpected guest, in walks Phoebe Reynolds, a lovely woman who claims to be Nina's long lost half-sister. As always, Dakota Cassidy delivers a paranormaly romantic punch with the newest in her "Accidental" series, Accidentally Dead, Again. This time, the story is centered on Phoebe, the snarkaholic vampire Nina's spunky long lost sister. Things quickly heat up when Phoebe is accidentally bitten in a very interesting way by the hot cowboy entomologist and newbie vamp Sam McLean. And, as you can imagine, chaos and hi-jinx ensue. Another fun Accidentals story. I really liked the twists and turns in this story. I loved all the names that Nina calls Phoebe. I loved that Phoebe is a more well put together Nina. It was great to finally see someone stand up to Nina. I think Nina finally found her match in her little sister. I loved Sam!!! Sam the bug guy is great. No matter what secrets he is hiding or way Sam is a great guy.

I was drawn into the book immediately, although feeling confused at first, it explained itself quickly. The plot was non stop drama and excitement, I loved it. The humor and the cussing are on point for my taste. Fun book, I have not read any other in the series, but I will check them out now that I have read this.

My personal issues:

1. I wanted each character to posses their own vat of vocabulary to choose from. Dialogue of all the characters often used recycled words.

2. Vocab again, I would ha

It was a while since the last book I've read from the "Accidentally Friends" series, but it took me just seconds to get back into this "world" once again.
This time it features Nina's half-sister, Phoebe Reynolds. The first surprise is that Nina didn't knew about this particular sister until now. Due to Nina's temper, one thing lead to another and Phoebe got bitten on her ass by Sam, the newborn vampire. Yep, you heard it right, bitten on the ass by fangs. You have to read the book to find out ho

I started this book and was thinking been there done that. But I kept at it because Dakota Cassidy gives Nina such great dialog. But somewhere along the way the story became totally fun and different. WTG Dakota Cassidy!

Sam finds himself left on the doorstep of OOPS in the dress he wore to the company Halloween party. He has no memory of how he got there. He finds himself fanged and fabulous. Nina, Wanda & Marty are doing their best to help him come to terms with his new condition when Phoeb

OK, I guess I'll just have to say it. Dakota Cassidy is freakin' fantabulous! Her stories are like some otherworldly kind of crack ~ I am totally addicted! This time, we meet Sam and Phoebe who both get turned into vampires, accidentally, of course. Their story turns into a homage to all the great soap operas with as many twists, turns, and *gasp* shocking secrets and the snark...oh baby, yeah, the snark! I am so glad that someone can finally hold their own against Nina's big, rude mouth! Phoebe is just as tough as her big sister, and she can stomp just as loudly even in heels! This book pushes the necessary paranormal secret keeping to a new level, which adds lots of fun drama. I love that Sam is an FBI agent but also actually an entomologist-who says nerds can't be tough? Phoebe makes even Wanda look like a slacker when it comes to taking care of the people she loves, and never getting to go to ...more

Entomologist Sam McLean wakes up outside the offices of OOPS with fangs. Reeling from the shock, he accidentally bites Phoebe, who has arrived to meet her long-lost sister, Nina. The two fledgling vampires are also not what they seem, as they have powers other don't, and might have an impending expiration date...

Two vampire are better than one? This story kicks up the supernatural chaos and also a vague threat that has some surprising roots. It sometimes reeled like a little too much chaos, but

Once more all I can say is that I really enjoy this series. I love the quick wit and the sarcastic humor of Dakota Cassidy's writing style. I do wish we saw a little more of the husbands since I love all the girls' repartee with them. Reginald is and will continue to be a delight.

I really like that Pheobe had similarities to Nina but yet was a strong unique character in her own way. I did like how she and Sam bonded over their crazy situation which evolved into their relationship. (Yes, I know i

This was the first book I read by Dakota Cassidy and I really liked it. It was funny, and adventurous, all the while having that tiny bit of sexy romance that I tend to enjoy every once in awhile. I definitely want to continue reading this series, especially from the beginning because it sounds very interesting. The characters are quirky and funny and complicated and just so interesting that it pulls me into the book. I can't wait to pick up another one!
