Brody and his team get sent to South America ahead of production to evaluate a claim about an ancient relic but their trip falls apart in epic fashion. Ultimately 3 different groups are after them and they don't know who to trust or which way to turn. They find out the Arcanum is real after all BUT is it truly a pathway to bringing about Christ as a fanatical group after them insists it is?? Will the group survive and escape intact or will their lives be forfeit??? Don't wait you'll enjoy this book!

Brazilian adventure!

Brody, Anne and Colin are sent to Brazil to investigate whether a farmer's report of finding a piece of the Arcanum is genuine. However, two factions appear to have other ideas.... But are they after the same thing?
The religious and archeological connotations of the Arcanum conflict in this battle of wills where much intrigue, suspense, action, zombie-like activity and devotion to a cause combine to create an entertaining and engrossing tale, leaving you eager for the next installment.

Another Compelling Read…

This one took me longer to get hooked on than most of Nick’s work. The majority are finished in a couple of days. Due to interference from Life, this was spread out over weeks. The storyline was more complex, the characters had great depth and consistency, and the plot twists well placed. If you enjoy escaping from the day to day miseries of life, pick up any of this author’s works. You will quickly find yourself both reading and inserting yourself into the story and before you know it, wishing the next book was already published!

Review of this book.

This was a good book, but different in an odd sort of way. The story veered widely in many directions. The one main character came across as very helpful.but That changed dramatically as the story progressed. Some parts were eerie, and not fully explored. Other parts helped to bring the story together. It was a great read. The ending certainly points to a sequel in the future.

Very interesting story line

This story was very interesting in putting together the theory of where, and why Emilia’s last journey took her to where ever she wound up, and adding an interesting conspiracy theory to it.
At time a bit slow, and some details inaccurate but overall a good read.

Thin

Now having read book 2 of the series I still don’t like any of the three main characters. They just seem very shallow and artificial. While I enjoyed the book the story premise was really thin to base a whole book on. I’m not sure I will stick around for book 3.

Earth uncovered

Very well written!
It did take me longer than normal to read it not because I didn't enjoy it but because this time of the year I don't get a lot of time to read. I did have to keep going back to re read a chapter or so. But it was a good read

Plot Twists Galore

What is the Arcanum? Where was it found? But more importantly why were people being kidnapped, drugged, and threatened? Are the Network Executives part of it? Read this Excellent book and find out.

Suspenseful

A journey that frantically happens that the participants know what they are searching for. Strong characters, many tense adventures, and compiling event that kept you wanting to follow their journey.

First in the series was great but this next in the series a major disappointment……
Too much “filler” and a weak storyline.

good

Good book. Interesting the way Nick Thacker jumps from character to character full a full chapter or so. Good job

Awsome

What an adventure on every page never knowing what was coming next. It was so very exciting as to what they would stumble into next.
