Stopped reading. Too much gross stuff. Also too much detail about what the main characters have for dinner.

POISON FRUIT - Ex
Yarbro, C.Q. - 3rd in series

Each book in this series with protagonist Charlie Spotted Moon, an attorney in San Francisco, is darker than the last. But the books are excellent and stay with you.

Re-read. Still a bit iffy about the plausibility of the psychological mechanism whereby innocent man is accused, instead of actual perpetrators, when it involves several victims doing it.
