This book was quite good. It's approachable and insightful. it definitely made me think differently about some things, and I suspect I will continue to think over this book in the years to come.

The basic premise is that Jesus was preaching mostly regarding The Law, and trying to prove and break the listeners hearts towards their own ability to fulfill it by themselves, that they needed a savior. it does not discredit the words of Jesus, but instead warns of plucking out of context. It's definitely an interesting thought and I'm still mulling it over.

This is my second time through this book. Very interesting and insightful about many passages in the Synoptics.
