J. R. Worsley was a master practitioner and a gifted healer. I am so glad to be part of his school of thought, but I don't think this book has held up well over time. It's a good start for someone who knows nothing of acupuncture and is looking for a practitioner and what to look for.
Excellent introduction to classical five element acupuncture. It explains the complexity of the practice and the way of understanding acupuncture as a practice in understanding nature.
My acupuncturist let me borrow this book yesterday after I peppered her with questions about how Five Element acupuncture differs from mainstream acupuncture practice in America. It is such a refreshingly well-written little book. Only 114 pages, it is presented in question-and-answer format. It was so clear, interesting, and informative. I absolutely loved it.
