The best epic fantasy saga I’ve read in a very long time! Even the ending was superb! To be honest it took me months to finish book 5 because I didn’t want to leave this world of Olleb-Yelfra! I fell in love with the characters and the places!
Great world building, the stakes were there! The secrets revealed were on point! The characters were amazing and wanted more of them! Loved the found family trope, loss, grief, strength and weaknesses all helped bring this story together!
Arianna Belvedor is people’s champion, hero and Queen! 👸🏽

Loved this!
I committed to only purchasing books written by African American authors and somehow I've missed this book until just recently (I actually TRIED to take my time to read the set - I KNEW I would feel empty once I wasn't able to look forward to reading it anymore) and thank God I did! Absolutely fantastic story line that grips you right away. It was SO unique...it was impossible to get a feel for whether this was set in a dystopian future or the past, so you just had to accept it for what it was and allow the story to unfold on its own. Beautiful! Thank you!

This series if one of the best YA fantasy series I have read in a long time!! I have reviewed the other books singly, as a whole the world the author brings us into, draws you in and you stay. I thought this book series would take me some time to get through, but there is absolutely no down time, before I knew it I was done. Great world full of magic and mystery and suspense and friendship! This is a series you won’t put down.
