My son got this book when he was in kindergarten from his teacher. He instantly fell in love with it. The book is wonderfully illustrated and has parts that are great for young children and then as they grow to school age, there are sections that are great for learning about what happens to the world around them with the change of each season.

This is a larger book than a typical picture book and contains more factual information but could still be a benefit in the classroom. It could be divided throughout the year and depending on the season so the children could write stories about the current season or even apply it to science as they learn about weather that occurs during a season.

This picture has great picture support and a lot of details for the students to look at. I would recommend this book for primary grades to learn about seasons
