A recall of the Sheriff who is being framed for bribes and then for the murder of that bad guy! Great mystery and surprising ending. I have read all six books and can't wait for number 7 to come out!
As this is books 4 through 6 i strongly recommend that you go back and read the first three books in the series. This is a delightful cozy mystery series set on the California coast. The lead character is April May a woman in her 50s, reinventing herself after the death of her mother and a failed relationship. The cast of local characters are endearing, you feel like you are making new friends along with April. The ghost of a divine French Chef and a Bengal cat (I really want a Bengal cat) just round out the cast nicely. There are some really nice recipes too. Highly recommend you try this series out if you enjoy mysteries and tea shops and lovely old haunted mansions on the coast.
Excellent mysteries of amateur sleuth & tearoom owner April May in small, coastal Serenity Cove. Recurring characters who "help" solve murders & are each quite a character in own right. Best read in order to develop characters & how they came to be in relationship with April. Highly recommend this series for all cozy mystery readers.
I've read all six of the books so far, and once I start one book I've had trouble putting it down. For a cosy mystery it has got everything you need. Laughter, sadness, keeps you guessing who dunnit. I would recommend the haunted tearoom mysteries to everyone who loves cosy mysteries. Can't wait to read the next one in the series.
Book four in the Haunted Tea Room series finds April May and the gang solving a murder before the police in the small costal town. Find out what happens and will the ghost of Chef Emil ever find peace?
I really enjoy the main characters and the newer editions too. These 3 books all had excellent story lines and the twists to keep you wrapped up in them. Off to read the next ones.
