If I did okay in Civ Pro, this book and my friends pulled me over the finish line. Highly recommended supplement to a 1L course. Effective learning requires testing/applying your knowledge, and the example questions in this book work well for that purpose.

You still need to pay attention, though, because certain topics are not covered at all: We spent an entire day on class actions; I think this book mentions class actions once in passing.
