Reviews

[Rich Meyer]

A typical Tempo paperback the mid-seventies. Three stories from Justice League of America, including the two-part story that returned Hawkgirl to Earth. Kind of false advertising, since the cover is a reprint of JLofA #102, one of my favorite stories but not included in this collection, but there's three tales of Dick Dillin/Frank McLaughlin artwork, so I'm not too heartbroken about it.

THis is a reprint of JLA 102 - a really good story. Unfortunately, the production process for these books was to cut up the pages and reposition the panels (in the right order, but no longer with the page layout set by the artist) which makes it less pleasant to read than the original comic. Fortunately, the original comic has been reprinted in other - better - formats.
