I found this on my library shelves which was bought a long time ago; it must have been a present as I don't remember buying it at all. I am however going to read it because well, why not?
This is a book of its time, very much aimed at the teenager of the 1950s. I am not sure what else I can say about it to be honest - very different times to today I guess!
There's nothing of substance in these, no stakes for any of the stories whatsoever. the characters are like paper cutouts and the romance is passionless and characterless. The barbie-doll-like-character design is such that the different characters are barely distinguishable, both physically and in personality and yet-
