My mom loved mice when she was little so she picked this one out for me at the library. I’m glad she did because it was so cute! We loved the adorable little mouse and the calming story. We read this before nap time and as my mom was reading the last page, where the little mouse is falling asleep, I couldn’t keep my eyes open either. 😴🐭

mom really likes this one even though it is a little to long for an 8 month olds attention span. very cute story and pictures. a few of the reasons they come up with feel contrived (he wants to float in the river with otters but changes his mind because he doesn't like baths???) but over all very sweet. and mom cried at the end.

This is a wonderfully sweet tale. Mama Mouse has positive, open-ended responses to each of her little mouse's creative ideas. Wish I was that good!
