This book caught my eye so I decided to give it a go.
Whilst eating an ice cream (surprisingly ironic), this book had a plethora of chapters. It was particularly helpful to finding my Resting Heart Rate and maximum heart rate which I kept in mind in my workouts.
Certainly a book to read for all women :)

If you have no idea what you should be doing while working out then this book is for you. If you have an idea then this book would be pretty useless as this book is for first timer to the gym. A friend and I are going to the gym but we are getting bored and have no idea what we are doing. I got this book to hopefully help us on numerous things. It has helped us with many things and how to do them properly and which areas to focus on. Its given me plenty of ideas on how much I should be working o ...more

So I've been working on getting fit most of my life...but here recently I've gone all out. I've been reading this book off and on for the past 3 weeks and finally realized that I've already attempted much of the ideas, exercises and tips. Even though I haven't seen much change on the scale the inches have started to fall away. While this is a great start it is not the "be all end all" that I thought I would be. Another one I'm going to add to my home library. It makes a good companion book to Tara Stiles' 'Yoga Cures,' because I like to mix up the little bit of exercise I actually do. (Maybe these two will even encourage me to do more!!!) ...more

Overall it was a good book for tips and tricks but that is about it. I do like the detailed workouts & stretches as it can be hard with just a photo.

I liked it. I wrote down a few of the yoga poses and routines, but over all it seemed to me like common sense.
