The Stranger Returns

More frightening than Silence of the Lambs, more compelling than Rules of Prey, this is a novel of terrifying possibility, a scenario in which Ted Bundy is convicted and executed, and returns on a second rampage of death--an electrifying duel between a brilliant serial killer and the only man who can stop him.

This is a straight up guilty pleasure that you hide at the back of your book shelf in polite company and it doesn’t pretend to be anything more. I skipped over most of the Web bits tbh, but entertaining before bed read nonetheless.

This book was difficult to put down. However it was so unbelievable and far fetched that it ruined most of the book for me. It actually would’ve been better if it left out that it was Ted Bundy and instead had a copycat. At least then it would be a little bit plausible. I wasn’t much of a fan.

A slow build with unexpected twists and turns... I am obsessed with what makes serial killers who they are and this was fascinating!

Fictional account of what happened when Ted Bundy didn't actually die in the electric chair. Completely unbelievable and predictable fluff, but a quick and entertaining read.
