It is about Louise Pasteur and how to pasteurize things. I learned that in the olden days no one knew that bacteria was bad for you. So until Loise learned that bacteria was bad.

A nice comic on the development of the pasteurization process. Would be nice to have a few sequels on the other inventions of Louis Pasteur.

We enjoyed this with our schooling as an introduction to the science of why things are pasteurized. Though it’s short and told in graphic novel format, it has a lot of info and is interesting.

1. Even though this is a fairly short book, I learned several things.
2. I even went to the Internet for further reading.
3. The illustrations were nicely done.
4. These are perfect for children wanting to learn more about science and history.
5. I appreciated the glossary, Internet sites, and bibliography in the back.

Formatted like a graphic novel, this book tells the story of Louis Pasteur's invention of the pasteurization process and the effects of this invention on the spread of disease through food.
