Writer of multi-cultural erotica and seductive romances, and whatever else comes to mind. Tattooed vixen. Wicked humorist. Incurable humanist. Proud geek! Lover of pit bulls, fast cars, all music, and candy. Alter ego of adventure/thriller novelist Isadora Monday. That's the short version.

I'm a tough tomboy type with a hidden romantic streak, and I have a penchant for finding the funny in things. When not writing, I can be found reading everything from Steve Berry to Zecharia Sitchin, Walter Mosley to Iris Johansen. Words are wonderful things.

Other tidbits about me: I've got a degree in biology from UC Berkeley (Go Bears!), I'm a certified massage therapist, and a licensed bartender. I'm mother to two wonderful pit bulls, and I'm currently working on the design for my next tattoo.

I really enjoyed this book. Hated the ending though.

It’s like having sex and after the whole building up to the orgasm bit creeps up on you WHAM .. it’s like someone yells, “PAUSE!”

That doesn’t really work for me. An author should write a book and by god give some ending to it. Cliffhangers are great, I love them, I really do. They keep the readers coming. The word cliffhanger doesn’t even come close to how this book ends.

Rant over.

Kizzie Baldwin is a secret agent who finds herself on a yacht surrounded by a crowd drowning orgy. Masters and slaves. Doms and subs. Sex and punishments.

And on top of all of that, Kizzie runs right into the bad guy she’s on mission to destroy. Apparently, bad guys are supposed to be ugly because she was quite shocked to find him otherwise Of course. …

Falling into the hands of Xander, criminal mastermind and Dom, she falls into unfamiliar sensations and territories.

Great book. Ending is beyond lame. Next book, Wallbanger, is said to be released in October 2011.

I recommend this book to any adult in need of some special yumminess. Book contains severely strong sexual content and moderate violence. Of course, the violence is more than likely a sexual punishment, but there you go!

Line of the book:

Ah, the life of a secret agent; all fast cars, fancy gear, government deniability and bad guys. Fun and games until one of them ties you to a bench and spanks the cum out of you.

~Happy reading!

I picked up 'Shaken and Stirred' by Sable Jordan as a light fun read whilst browsing Amazon's pages for something a bit different from my normal choices.

It won't test you and you'll read through it in an hour or so, but if you're looking for some fast moving action fun, give it a try.

One sexy secret agent.
One seriously hot Dom.
One psychotic bad guy.
And a race to save the world.
Could it really be that simple?
What could possibly go wrong?

There are five books in the sequence so far. It's a hot, fast-paced thriller that gets better with each instalment as the author hits her stride. A fun, on-going story of blood-pulsing, action-packed erotica.

Part One, 'Shaken and Stirred' is a free download and you can get the next part, Wallbanger’, for free by signing up to Sable Jordan's newsletter.

Having read those, I’d enjoyed ‘the story so far’ enough to pay for the next two volumes, 'Sake Bomb' and 'On the Rocks'.

The female protagonist, CIA agent Kizzy Baldwin, is sexy, sassy and mouthy. And absolutely not cut out to be a sub. Master criminal and Dom, Xander Duquesne, sees it otherwise…

They should be on opposite teams, but it just doesn’t work out that way.

The tale begins with our heroine, on a mission, walking in on a BDSM party where she meets Xander.

And the story gets better with each part as you get to know the characters and as the author, Sable Jordan, has the space to develop them.

I'm looking forward to reading the next part, 'Dirty' due for release 1st April. As I write this (20th March) I have it on pre-order.

Note: these books are not stand-alones and are intended to be read in sequence.

Oh my goodness, this Kizzie Baldwin series is my new favorite erotica series!! Sable Jordan is an excellent writer and very talented author!

If you are a fan of BDSM with a CIA twist, you will love this book!! An intriguing eye into the world of Doms and Subs, with keeping to an action packed good guy bad guy adventure, Shaken and Stirred will pull you in and refuse to let you go, well after your safe word is voiced. :P

I downloaded Shaken and Stirred for free from Amazon Kindle, and was impressed with the book from the very first page! I don't know how long it will be free for download, but I urge all readers not to wait!! Ten stars!!! ;P

Kizzie Baldwin is an undercover agent, on a mission to retrieve 3-19. The mission takes her to an orgy on a boat… can she complete the mission before having her cover blown?

This story, being a novella, has very little in the way of character development, but the plot premise was clearly laid out.

I will be reading the rest of the books in this series to find out if the mission is ever completed or if Kizzie gets sidetracked.

Oh my freaking god this SHORT story was by far the best gripping clif hanger i've ever had the pleasure of reading. And i mean pleasure! >< haha anyway sure some reviews are saying that it's not all that great but you have to understand this is a prequel and a damn good one!!! >< Seroulsy read it and you will be crawling at the wall for the next one!! ><

Sure yes, it's erotica but since it's a SHORT story there really isn't any real action but there is this one hot and steamy part and i mean steamy, you will be hyperventalating like no tomorrow. but that's not the only great thing the part. What really got me hooked was the banter that was being exchanged. I can't even explain it, it's just so sexually charged with yummy goodness!!! read it for yourself you will not be disappointed!

I very much wish this books was longer. From the first page it pulls you in and keeps you there. The chemistry between Xander and Kizzie is near combustible.

I love that Kizzie doesn't know what kind of party she is walking into. Of course, as much as they know about Xander, shouldn't they know he throws parties like that all the time? That didn't deter me from the story though.

The part that got me hooked for more and completely infuriated me at the same time was the ending or should I say lack there of. The book ends on a cliffhanger and man does it leave you wanting more. The continuation of this book can not come out soon enough.

I enjoyed the start of this story, looking forward to see what becomes of Kizzie and Xander in the next one. Wouldn't mind alittle more background about both characters, especially Xander. He is pretty shrouded in mystery at this point.

This book had me hooked from the very beginning but do keep in mind this was a short story, only about 50 pages. The hero and heroine have great chemistry and I can't wait to read what happens next in the series.

I really enjoyed this. I could totally picture this as a movie and it would be hot. Kizzie is a total bad arse and has been waiting for someone to dominate her, literally- but she doesn't know it yet. Xander is Master X and he has some moves that will tempt Kizzie into the unknown.

Glad it was free. Some of the CIA spy equipment stuff was very interesting, but as a whole this just didn't do it for me. Was disjointed, obviously part of another series. But unlike other books offered like this, I really have no desire to read the next book.

Your mileage may vary.

Shaken not Stirred: A Kizzie Baldwin Erotic Thriller. Book 1

Ok. I am hooked. I loved the fast pace of the story with a female as the goodie. This book kept me reading all night. I read the prequel of the second book Wallbanger. Yep. That has me in its clutches too. Can’t wait to read the the whole series. If you have nice nails don’t bother with these books because you will have chewed you fingers up to your elbows. Be warned.

I thought this was going to really cheesy, but I like it. I gave it 3 stars because I needed more. It just wasn't long enough. The story was a good setup with just the right amount of sexual tension. Although I liked the story, I don't think I will continue with the series. I got this free from Kindle but I didn't like it enough to pay for the rest of the series. If there was more to the novella maybe it would have hooked me.

The problem with a freebie short is sometimes you get what you paid for. Saying this, did I like it? Why yes I did. I enjoyed the overall. I found it to be a really quick read but not necessarily what I expected. I didn't really expect a whole lot considering it was so short and a freebie but I have to say regardless of price for something they should let you know that the story is a lead in to another book. We've all read series before where we had lead ins to the next volume but I don't know that was the purpose of this entire short story. I actually liked it for the most part but I was less than pleased with the ending.

Being a quickie we are thrown into the story fast which more often than not works for me. This is my escape so I don’t worry myself about the realism of how fast bonds and relationships are formed.

I found the main characters to be likable and enjoyed the salting of humor. Of course there are the main characters, secret agent Kizzie and a sexy bad guy in Xander but I was really interested in X’s cohort Phil Marchande. There’s a story in his story somewhere and I’m hoping this comes to light in the future.

I was hoping for more sex scenes either at the party or in private but it was enough to titillate me and leave me wanting more which I believe is what this story was all about. There were 2 things I didn’t care much for and that was to overdone references to James Bond. The first time was cute, the second smirkable but after that it became annoying to me. The second was the way this ended. I was not aware when I acquired the story that it was a lead in for a series. I wish it was divulged. I would have read it anyway but at least I would have been prepared for the cliffhanger ending. When I read ”to be continued” I almost flipped I was so ticked. Back to my usual of having to hunt out the rest of the series so I can see how the hell this wraps up. I did say I was enjoying it!

TRB interviewer: No Labels Unleashed (Queen of Spades on Goodreads)

Full review found here.

The title alone drew me. I did think one would be talking about an alcoholic drink (lol). Even the personal story of a woman dealing with a myriad of emotions which would leave her shaken and stirred.

It’s not that it didn’t occur with one of the main characters (Kizzie), but it is the action that leaves you shaken and stirred more than anything.

The location, target, and objective start immediately made me think of the 007 or the Mission Impossible movies.

This isn’t one’s typical erotic setting.

Yes, there is erotica in it, but it’s presented in a way that can challenge one’s comfort level.

Warning: This does touch on BDSM. Some may be deeply into it. Others may be deeply into it up until a point while others may not find it erotic at all. I do say this in advance, simply because, if you aren’t into BDSM or if it disturbs you, despite the other action, you may want to skip this particular read.

However, if it doesn’t, then feel free to read further. The scenes didn’t bother me; I think it did add to the richness of what type of fetishes that the target, Xander, is into. But on the same token, they aren’t really the type that get me majorly turned on, either.

For me, even if the erotic scenes weren’t there, this would make a good action book. The description of the gadgets she used to spy on the target’s operations; the fight scenes; the tension when she gets discovered as well as captured.

I hunger more for the underlying story—where the pursuit of Xander and Formula 3-19 started. Also, Kizzie’s origins as a spy, and the chemistry between her and Xander—if this chemistry will keep her from bringing in the target.

I yearn for this more than for any of the erotic imagery that is taking place.

Ten years as an undercover agent isn’t enough to prepare Kizzie Baldwin for the sexual decadence aboard Xander Duquesne yacht. Her assignment is simply to get on board, find Formula 3-19 and get back to safety without arousing alarm. She doesn’t count on boarding a ‘love boat’ of Masters, Mistresses and submissives in various states of undress and sexual activities. She’s wary when she catches the eye of Xander and surprised that she must fight to control her pumped libido as she’s drawn to his attractiveness and touch. Once her cover is blown and she’s subjected to an interrogation which is the most intense sexual experiences of her life, she’s left with memories she can’t shake and more questions, then answers about the experience. The failed assignment however, doesn’t mean the end of the assignment. Is there more to Xander, his ‘business’ and Formula 3-19 then she’s been told. Does she have the courage to find out?

Let’s face it. There are two types of free reads. One is a complete story with a satisfying beginning, middle and end. The other is a partial tale, a tease really to get the reader interested in the characters and story line. Shaken and Stirred falls in the second category, but I still like it for what it gives the reader. Kizzie is a strong, intelligent female lead that can kick male ass and outsmart them too. I loved the interaction between Xander and his second in command Philip Marchande; and the author definitely perked my interest with the cryptic ending that everything isn’t quite what it seems. I’m looking forward to the next installment in the Kizzie Baldwin series. I’m just hoping this will be a complete story with depth and not just a tease.

Nothing gives me the pips more than these 'books' (if you can call them that) that provide you with a chapter or two's worth of a story and then leave you dangling with a cotton thread. Yes, I understand the point of the freebie is to entice the reader to buy the next book, however, there are three (that I know of, there may be more for others) reactions that I don't think the authors have anticipated;

a- People will be pissed off instead of enthralled and will avoid reading/buying anymore of their work, even if just on principle- trust me, this happens, I actually feel like this at the moment

b- I don't like buying online (unless it's through something like the iTunes card), hence the free download, pissing me off will only invoke a part a response when I see your work in physical form

c- Coming off the part b line, I can't always afford to buy books online (poor uni student and all that), pissing me off will only invoke a part a response when I see your work in the kindle store when I actually have money on my account

So yeah, it was a nice little read but any enjoyment that it provided me with was lost when I saw that if I wanted to see what happens next, I'd have to buy it.

Sorry, I'm not saying it wasn't good and I do appreciate the fact that the author has to earn income, however, this isn't the first book that has done it (just the straw that broke the camel's back and earnt itself a comment/rant)

What a waste of potential. The author must have a low opinion of her audience to cheat them out of a true book and just piece mill her work to the public. This is not a "BOOK", it's not even a short story! My English prof would have marked a big fat "F" on this if I would have turned it as a completed work.

The plot wasn't bad, but I doubt very many female spooks compare themselves to the fictional character of James Bond. That had me saying "yeah, right" from the get go. Yes its fiction, but I prefer at least the facade of authenticity.

It was free so I'm not pissed I spent money on it, just pissed that the story stopped just when it should have really gotten started.

My advise to authors who trick their readers like this is to take the time to actually write a complete book. Engage your readers to want to buy your works based on their connection to your characters not just because we tend to be anal and want to finish the story.

SPOILER ALERT: Book 2 doesn't bring the story to a conclusion either and no sign of when Book 3 will hit the market.

My advise is to waste your time on something else.

I was completely blown away by this one. It wasn't what I was expecting at all. It's a well written, fast-paced, edgy read. The plot is believable, the characters to die for, the dialog off the hook. I'm seriously trying not to squee at the moment.

I love Kizzy! She is smart, quick, sarcastic. I think I may have a girl-crush here. Xander is intriguing and mysterious, and insanely hot. I even liked the side characters! Only thing is, it would have been nice to get to know them all a little bit more. But I understand being a short story some things need to be cut.

I had just one major problem with Shaken and Stirred; the cliffhanger. And it was no subtle cliffhanger which is somewhat tolerable. This one was an in-your-face kind which means the next book, due out in October, will either be epic or highly disappointing. I'm eagerly awaiting an epic continuation.

Anyway, this is not a typical erotic read. There's an actual story here that is highly compelling, one that sucked me in from the very start, and didn't let go until the last word. I was hooked.

TEASE!!!

An author who writes a good cliffhanger is like a crack dealer, giving you just enough of a taste to get you hooked on the product, and then BAM!! You'll do anything to get more. Such is the case with Sable Jordan; "Shaken and Stirred" is addictive...filled with heat and humor. This reader especially loved when The Henchman said, "It's alright if you kill him now...". Was listening to this on the tablet, while making the drive to a tennis match yesterday morning; almost wrecked the car from laughing so hard (smile). Then, when just arriving at the courts...it's over...To Be Continued. Oh, no! Panic attack....what to do? Well, the answer is as simple as it is obvious...pay whatever it takes to get the rest of the series.
If the other three stories are as good as this one, it will be worth the price.
CRACK!!!

Exciting introduction, February 7, 2012
I received a free and enjoyable introduction to the beautifully tough spy Kizzie Baldwin. She's a big fan of James Bond but thinks her spy gadgets are cooler. I like a woman who is strong in more ways than one. Kizzie can stand on her own and she inflicts serious damage to the bad guys. The story is exciting, sexy and humorous. I loved the "cat and mouse" interaction between Kizzie and bad guy Xander. I've got to know what happens next. Is Kizzie teaming up with the bad guys or is she being set up by the good guys?

Yes, the story is very short (estimated 40 pages). It ends abruptly, but Sable Jordan has succeeded in making me want more. I'm hooked.

The only reason I read this is because 1.) it was the continuation of a novella I read over the weekend, 2.) I wanted a definitive ending to this particular story, and 3.) it was free.

But there was no ending! It continues into another book! Why can't it just be one?! Why must I continually be left with only a section of the story?!

Ugh.

I didn't much care for the first novella, but since this was free, I figured I'd continue it. I am pissed that I have to read the next part, too!

If this is a good example of this authors' work, then I probably won't be reading much more from her. I got the impression that it was written by someone who normally writes crime and intrigue stories but had gotten bored and decided to try throwing something more explicit into this one, but after the first encounter between the main characters she had forgotten what she was writing and went back to her usual brief.

More a very poor attempt at a James Bond story than anything, an erotic story with a little Bdsm thrown in to try to spice things up which didn't work for me.

Got this book because it was offered free for kndle. I have never read anything by this author....so as Kizzy was I was also shocked abt the contents..

It is an interesting mix of spy, gadgets and sex and does draw you in ....unfortunately as the book gets interesting it ends abruptly..
I'm wondering if I should bother read the continuation or if that also ends as a cliffhanger.....

If anyone has read the continuation please advise.

This should be labelled a sample. It is the first couple of chapters of a book which I won't bother to buy. A female James Bond...highly trained...who capitulates to the 'enemy' after one half-arsed spanking. Seriously?! If the book was written as a spy thriller without the erotic content it could probably be fixed to make a good read.

I am still not sure how I felt about this book. 3 stars because I liked it but, I don't know if I did at all. I am still boggled over the entire book but, liked it enough to finish it and who knows. That is what the book did to me it took me to an unknown place. The cover is great but, honestly I feel it was to "girly" for the book.
