I am really interested in the female interpretation of the Bible because it so neglected and unexplored, and I am eager to know more about it. Unfortunately, Sharing Her Word is little too complicated for me. Maybe one day I'll come back to it. For now, however, I need to start with something simpler. Any suggestions? Hmm, that's a new one. Usually I give a recommendation, not ask for one.
Born Elisabeth Schüssler in Tășnad, in the Transylvanian region of the Kingdom of Romania, Professor Schüssler Fiorenza is a German feminist, theologian and Professor of Divinity at Harvard Divinity School. Schüssler Fiorenza identifies as Catholic and her work is generally in the context of Christianity, although much of her work has broader applicability.
