This is a great little book that lays a foundation and framework for interpreting one of the more unique books in the New Testament. The last chapter on application spends a lot of time focusing on the normative vs. descriptive nature of Acts, and I can’t say I agreed with all of Liefeld’s conclusions. Nevertheless, this is certainly a helpful resource.

I read "Interpreting the Book of Acts" for my Book of Acts class with Dr. Dean Flemming. It was a great overview of interpreting Acts, and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to gain a healthier understanding of Acts, its themes, its theology, and its narrative.

A mostly unhelpful book on an important topic. Egalitarian agenda.
