PowerPoint is a presentation program developed by Microsoft that creates a slide show of important information, charts, and images for a presentation. It is most often used for business and school presentations. It is a standard component of the company's Microsoft Office suite software, and is bundled together with Word, Excel, and other office productivity tools. The program uses slides to convey information rich in multimedia.
It allows you to use images, audio and video to have a greater visual impact. These visual and audio cues may also help a presenter be more improvisational and interactive with the audience.
