I couldn't imagine doing this journey on my lovely shiny modern bike - but our "Nauticus" tours Scotland on a beast of a machine, without pneumatic tyres and a lot of the time without roads. A great taste of the early days of cycle touring - visiting so many places I'm familiar with by name too.
