My version is the catalogue of the exhibition in Hamburg in 1981.
It beginns with a detailed introduction of early Egyptian history and smoothly goes over to how, when, where and under what circumstances the treassure of Tutanchamun was found.
It then very eloquently and rich in details describes 55 beautiful pieces of said tressure, illustrated with stunning high-resolution photos. An impressive collection of knowledge and beauty.
I found this book in a book sale in Denmark. Surprisingly, my German grandma in law later told me that she was going to visit said exhibition, but didn't because the waiting line was insanely long.

Tutanchamun ist der Ausstellungskatalog aus dem Haus der Kunst in München von 1980. Die Ausstellungsstücke sind abgebildet und ausführlich beschrieben. Eingeleitet wird das Ganze mit einer Geschichte der Grabentdeckung und weiteren Informationen rund um Tutanchamun.
Das Buch ist wirklich toll aufbereitet und informativ.
