This fireball of a book is one that I will always remember when pondering the things that move me to preach the gospel and win the lost! Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke is as inspiring as he is convicting and one can easily be blessed by any sermon or book of his. This one however, is like reading a 306 page power-packed sermon that is likely to make anybody rethink not only their outward expression of faith in Jesus, but also what they are or aren’t doing about the perishing masses all around us.
Something must be done in addition to our prayer meetings if we are to win the lost and see God move in our time and few ministers are willing to say what Reinhard Bonnke says in this book. The biggest and most life-changing revelations I’ve received from this book include:
1. We won’t see revival if we just pray for revival and neglect the great commission.
2. Preaching the Gospel is simply obeying Jesus and His word, and we do not need to wait for the Holy Spirit to tell us to do something Jesus already told us to do.
3. The Gospel itself is the “power of God to salvation for all those who believe.” Therefore it is not about our talents, methods, or personality. This message has its own inherent power against sin and that power explodes when it is preached!
4. “The Gospel is not good news to those who do not hear it, and an un-preached gospel is no gospel at all.” (Featured on the back of the book and the introduction)
5. Without gospel preachers and evangelists, the masses are sure to go to hell.
6. Not only SHOULD we do something but we CAN do something. The same Holy Spirit who empowered this man to lead upwards of 75 million to Jesus is in YOU and me.
7. God’s word will never return back void, so long as it is sent out and preached to begin with!
8. Should we take this great task and privilege of evangelism seriously, God will be there to guide us, empower us, protect us, use us, uphold us, and shine through us because this is His will!
9. It matters not if people listen or respond positively, so long as we preach the true gospel and do it out of love for the lost. God will save people and our work will not be in vain.
10. We should never take it to heart if people hate us for preaching the gospel, Jesus was assaulted, threatened, and accused nearly every time He preached, so we should expect the same. However, we can also expect God to strengthen and uphold us as He did for Christ!
After reading this high temperature treatise of truth, I am sure that part of the reason we see the culture backsliding and the lack of revival becoming more cumbersome is because the great commission has lost priority in our lives. Very few ministers have been able to inspire me towards action in the way that the late Reinhard Bonnke has and I feel his same call on my life: to reach the lost and help other Christians reach the lost. We have good news church! No other person or ideology or political movement has anything remotely close to the salvation that only Christ can bring. This gospel works, when it is preached, people WILL be saved but if it isn’t preached, then we ensure that NONE will be saved. This is our final and finest hour, let’s make it count by learning from men like Reinhard Bonnke and picking up where they left of. Enjoy this spiritual firecracker brothers and sisters!

Reinhard Bonnke is truly a man after God’s heart. His fervent heart towards evangelism and saving the lost is an inspiration to every Christian. In this book he explores many facets of evangelistic outreach and thoroughly convinces the reader that the church is falling short in several areas.
Some of my favorite quotes from the book were:
“The church is a lifeboat, not a pleasure boat. Entertainers are neither needed nor wanted.”
“The Primary concern is Evangelism: Effectiveness, not twisted faithfulness.”
“Evangelism- Saving Souls- is an emergency operation.”
“The blood of the martyrs is the seed of the church.” -Tertullian
“What people want from the pulpit is more than neat pulpit essays. We are not called to deliver sermons, but to deliver people.”
“The cross and the empty tomb are the twin turbines of the world’s greatest power plant.”

Somewhat inspired, but it reads like a series of five-minute sermons about evangelism. It was well-written, but it starts to feel a little redundant after several rounds of --- here's a story - that's why evangelism is important-you should evangelize.

This book inspired me to be more effective to evangelise.
Read this:
Because they had worked as long as they had the chance to work. This is the principle of God. If anybody is worried about not having been at Jesus’s side in the harvest when they could have been, the answer is to leave that with the Lord of the harvest. Do not waste time on tears. Give God, from this moment on, wholeheartedly what is His due!
Learnt that God is on our side. We are never meant to do it on our own!

I got inspired by attending crusade of man of GOD Reunhard Bonnke in Pune, Maharashtra, India long back and through his preaching i entered the ministry and when I read this book, wow!! I always seek the fire of the HOLY SPIRIT while preaching in my meetings and when I see people repent and give their lives to JESUS, I praise GOD for the ministry of CFAN
