The Ladies Work-Table Book - Containing Clear and Practical Instructions in Plain and Fancy Needle-Work, Embroidery, Knitting, Netting, Crochet, ... in Those Useful and Fashionable Employment
Many of the earliest books, particularly those dating back to the 1900s and before, are now extremely scarce and increasingly expensive. We are republishing these classic works in affordable, high quality, modern editions, using the original text and artwork.
Books can be attributed to "Anonymous" for several reasons:
* They are officially published under that name * They are traditional stories not attributed to a specific author * They are religious texts not generally attributed to a specific author
Books whose authorship is merely uncertain should be attributed to Unknown.
This is an old book and the language and attitudes within reflect the time in which it was written. It is packed full of information that in its day, was invaluable. Sadly, for us tiday, a lot of the information cannot be used as many of the materials listed do not exist anymore.
I enjoyed reading this book; however, it lacks the necessary illustrations as shown in the original publication. I would have liked to have seen some of the finished projects.
