Holy crap! The ending is IN.SANE. Review to follow!

So, I was given an ARC of VULTURE from Rhiannon Paille because I'm a huge fan girl of Paille's writing. She didn't ask for a review, she didn't ask for promotion, and she didn't really ask for any feedback, so you can rest assured that whatever you find in this post is solely based on how effing awesome VULTURE is and for no other reason.

Given all of that, I'm not entirely sure how much I can really discuss the book - as you can tell from the im

Thanks to Rhiannon for an ARC of Vulture! She knows I’ve been wanting it for awhile.

This book took me sometime to finish because I have read the previous books and I knew this one was going to have an ending to put Shakespeare’s tragedies to shame. Still, I bit the bullet and forced myself to keep reading even as I wanted to keep living in blissful denial. Despite the heart wrenching conclusion, I expect to be one of the first to snatch up Mercy when it comes along.

The plot:

There may be a spoiler or many within this review so please either don't read it or kick yourself really, really hard if you do and you ruin things for yourself because you really don't want to do that! This has been an extraordinary series so I'm just looking out for you best interests! You really want to read these in order!

Let's see, where to begin with this review! Wow. Well, it picks up right where book #2 leaves off, on the battlefield with the battle having just ended. This is really nice

It was heartbreaking, yet amazing. I wrote a whole post about it at my blog:

But if you don't like spoilers:
VULTURE has everything I love in a book: passion, adventure and of course romance. I’d read it again if I didn't have slew of other books to read. Even though I know there are more books coming out for this series I can honestly say that this series is up there in my favorites. Right next to Maggie Stiefvater's “Wolves of Mercy Falls." Ladies of an age, grab your wine, everyone else must settle for a gallon of ice cream. Kaliel has been given another chance with the love of her life, but with this chance comes exile from the land and people she loves. Krishani is not the boy she left behind, in his place is a darker boy with secrets creating distance between th ...more

Rhiannon Paille has done it again.

Vulture is the third book in The Ferryman & The Flame series. I think that it is the best so far.

Rhiannon has created a unique world with unique characters that you want to see succeed in what they are destined to do. No matter what they may do, you hope for the best for them.

I look forward to seeing what the future holds for these characters and where Rhiannon is going to take us next on this journey.

I received this book for free as part of Goodreads First-reads giveaway.

I am looking forward to reading it however as I have not read the first two books in the series (didn't realise it was part of a set and hate starting part way through the series) I have since downloaded the first two stories to my kindle.

Once I have read the first two I will then read this. I will leave my review once I have read it. sorry for the delay...

I have been eagerly awaiting this book and finally bought a copy this year at a convention. The story of Kaliel and Krishani gets darker and they discover truths about themselves. They have a hard time accepting those truths and also their destiny. I was very surprised at the end of the book. I am now really looking forward to the next book in the series. I have to wonder if Kaliel and Krishani will finally accept who they are, what needs to be done and maybe they will have a happy ending.

I loved this book. The fight of what you want and what is right. Showing that life isn't always fair. It was amazing and sad and lovely. True love knows no bounds. It's sad that they couldn't be together and they both had to leave their forms. But hopefully they will be together again soon.....

When she's not writing she's singing karaoke, burning dinner, and hiding her superhero identity. She'd like to own a unicorn one day, as long as it doesn't eat her. You'll find her sipping iced cappuccin ...more
