Hemlock Falls is a pretty little town in upstate New York. Sarah "Quill" Quilliam, with her talent for business, runs the Inn at Hemlock Falls, while her sister, Meg, keeps the guests happy with her culinary abilities. But when it comes to murder, the Quilliam sisters have to rely on other skills--spotting clues, solving crimes, and catching culprits. A nudie bar in Hemlock Falls? Not if the good ladies of the village have anything to say about it. And just yesterday the MacAvoy barn burned to a crisp--and a body was discovered inside. What is this town coming to? Quill and Meg have a feeling that the two incidents may be connected, but they already have their hands full. With Meg's wedding only days away, this bride doesn't have time for bodies; she has her own problems to worry about, like a serious case of cold feet and a chef whose supreme culinary skills are threatening to take over her kitchen.
A Highly entertaining read. Funny characters make the the book so much more than a mystery.

I liked this story. I find Bishop's books fairly easy to figure out-which is nice. All the clues are there and are above board. The reader has a chance. Stories are entertaining and the characters likeable.

I enjoyed this addition to this series. On top of the main cast of characters I enjoy the addition of the "dancers" definitely added an interesting twist. Definitely some interesting vibes in this one. Can't wait to read what happens next.

I was a bit disappointed in this book. I have enjoyed all the other books in the series but this story was boring and too much drama with the regulars. Will still read the series but sorry this one is not so good.

No, a business of nude female dancers in a town will not make it better, and no amount of rationalizing will make it so

The Inn at Hemlock Falls finds itself at the center of another murder investigation. The Quilliam sisters are up to their usual antics. However, Quill is seemingly having a melt down and isn't quite as fun in this novel as in the previous one. I am still trying to obtain novels from earlier in the series. They do seem to need to be read in order since this book referenced events in the previous one.

…. omgoodness. I am having trouble with this one. The writing is unconvincing, the characters insufferable. Too much of the dialogue is simply explanatory.
I am trying not to be impatient because I have just had the pleasure of listening to some 4* and 5* novels. Anything normal would suffer a little by comparison. But right now I don’t think I’m going to “get” this audiobook. No doubt other people will appreciate it more. Possibly even myself at a later date.

It's always a fun romp to spend time in Hemlock Falls. I love how quirky Quill & Meg are, as well as all their supporting characters.

This was a fun to listed to cozy mystery. I enjoy the characters. It was easy to follow along while I was working and didn't have to get lost if I didn't pay attention for a few seconds.

I couldn't get past the halfway point. I have been reading mysteries on vacation but this one did not catch my interest.

It was cosy and funny, like a episode of your favorite sitcom, but one episode of 6 hours.
There was no much of mystery, but I liked the characters.
