Once again, this is a book that I referred to while writing Stayed on Freedom's Call: Cooperation Between Jewish And African-American Communities In Washington, DC, to fill out background information from the tours I'd created in 2010.

I found it very helpful, in conjunction with other books on DC, particularly, I believe, with regard to The Washington Grays, DC's Negro League team.

Highly recommended.
