This is an exciting book on many levels. Not only the story of the author's life, but it lends a better understanding of how we can all see and be a part of the spiritual world in a different way. Joining traditional church teachings with experiences of spirituality and intuition, I find there is an enhanced experience of faith.

The soul work exercises and lessons are easy to follow and bring a new dimension not found in books of this type. Highly recommended to anyone wishing to enha

Beyond the Pews is part autobiography, part spiritual guidebook. It is partly a personal biography from the author about her experience with religion throughout her life, and is partly a workbook of sorts with small exercises spread throughout to guide the reader through their own exploration of faith. While I am personally not very religious, it is easy to appreciate the book because it still allowed me to discover my personal thoughts on religion. Whether religious or not, readers will undoubtedly learn something about them ...more

I disagree with some of her views about Christianity, but I did found some positive affirmations in beliefs. Some these affirmations are: 1)"Those who seek to discover their authentic selves and follow wisdom of their souls will succeed." 2) "May we embrace each lesson that comes our way, knowing that the soul's voice will lead us to discover our most authentic selves, or who we are within ...more
