After reading many books yesterday to celebrate George Washington's birthday, we decided to read about the women in his life today. This short biography of Martha Washington briefly touched on her life prior to becoming Mrs. Washington and focused on how she stood by George through their marriage and all the hardships they endured. A bit dry but informative.
