Read this book as part of a group back when I was going through a born-again phase. The group was 18/19 year olds and then we had our church leader who was in his 40s. Our consensus was that it was terrible use of biblical text to push a conservative narrative. The leader was pretty upset with us.

It was later that I learned about “theocratic fascism” and so nowadays I use this book as a reference for that.
