My kids rarely watch Nick Jr...about twice a year on vacation. I’m not sure we’ve ever seen this show. But Nick Jr. puts out some wonderful books with amazing kid appeal. This may be the first alphabet book my baby makes it through because she is that interested. It’s a really long text for her but it has active vocabulary and bright imagery. A great used book.

You go, Uniqua! Who would have guessed that black female empowerment could arrive in an chubby, polka-dotted pink imaginary (ant? aardvark?) creature!?! I have managed to avoid Dora, Spongebob, The Wiggles, and the like, but The Backyardigans have made their way into our house...
