Great book,This book was in my parents library. It has been laying around since before i was even alive from when my mom was once a big proponent of ESP when she was young.Wanting to expand my knowledge of ESP Psychic mediums and the occult I finally got around to reading it and was actually impressed. It is basically a history of the Theosophy movement, spiritualism and clairvoyance. An important point made by the author [who is a true believer ]why so many mediums showed extraordinary abilities while young people but when they got older they often got exposed as a charlatan .According to spraggett it was like any other talent or gift, with age the person simply lost the ability and then resorted to fakery.

This author was enthusiastic about his research for the books he wrote. "Unexplained", his first book, is a fascinating combination of stories from the lives of many people he met, as well as those from his own life. The reading is easy and enjoyable. His follow-up books introduce you to several people who have led amazing lives. Enjoyable, interesting reading.
