It's a quick read and is well written. I ran into Scott M. Peterson at BYU Education Week, and a friend gave us this book. I enjoy keeping a well-oiled budget (using YNAB), which has helped us tremendously. But frankly reading about how to make it all work in retirement has been a bit baffling to me. It has become more so since I have been getting occasionally senior citizen discounts. This book clarified several issues, such as how social security works and some strategy to take inflation into account over the long years (I hope) of retirement. A good read especially for anyone thinking about retirement—in a few years or 40. To be clear, it was only an introduction and was helpful to see into the mind of a retirement advisor and the potential complexity of the issues. I will probably go to his offices for further study and clarification.
