Taking IR theory from a sociological perspective is an interesting concept but this author does a terrible job with this book. He attempts to discredit every other academic field in trying to prove his point, and makes poor points in his discussions of globalization. He also coins his own terms (from his other writing) such as grobalization, and is just wrong about many topics of globalization.
