Joe Jr.'s dad is Danger Joe Denim, a famous zoologist who travels around the world filming his animal show. But Danger Joe has a bad habit of stepping straight into danger, and it makes for wild fun!

Danger Joe and Joe Jr. head to Africa to film an episode about the sacred baboons. Joe Jr. learns about how baboons live in family troops. Danger Joe reminds his son to be careful and not to disturb any of these Old World monkeys because baboons are very protective of the other members of their troop. But when a baby baboon slips into the raging river, Danger Joe's instincts take over. He makes a daring bungee baboon rescue, but who will save him from the wrath of the mother baboon?

A little too much science info like a text book for me, but my 8 yo loved it and is getting ready to start another one in the series.

There is alot of science and nature facts in these books. I like it.
