Callum (16, ik-figuur) heeft nog twee maanden om het complot rond de dood van zijn vader op te lossen en zijn eigen leven te redden. Hoe moet dat als de politie voortdurend op je hielen zit? Vanaf ca. 12 jaar.
Gabrielle Craig Lord is an Australian writer who has been described as Australia's first lady of crime.
She survived being ‘razed’ by the nuns, acquired an education despite this, and after working in many different areas, sales, teaching, brick-cleaning, peach-picking and packing, and in the Public Service as an employment officer, started writing seriously aged 30.
Her first two manuscripts ended up composting the tomatoes at her market garden – another attempt to make a living – but the third one FORTRESS was picked up internationally and made into a feature film starring Rachel Ward. A later novel WHIPPING BOY was made into a telemovie starring Sigrid Thornton. The film rights money, coinciding with her daughter leaving school, allowed Gabrielle to resign and instead of getting up at 4.30am and writing for several hours before heading off for work, she could write full-time and lead a more ‘normal’ writer’s life – hanging around with scientists and detectives, badgering forensic anthropologists (she studied some Anatomy at Sydney university) and doing work experience with a busy private security business and of course, writing.
Research is everything, she says. ‘Out of my contacts with experts (who are always far too modest to describe themselves that way) I get not only the fine-tuning necessary for today’s savvy readers, but also wonderful incidents and images that enrich and enlarge my books.’
Gabrielle’s interests are very simple. ‘After a misspent youth, I don’t have many brain cells left so I enjoy walking, meditation, singing, gardening, chatting with close friends, being with my family and grandkids, feeding my goldfish and keeping up to date with bodywork and enlightened psychotherapy.’
Gabrielle has now written fourteen adult novels and a novel for young adults. Once the 12 books of Conspiracy 365 are completed, this tally will be a tad bigger! Following this mammoth endeavour she already has plans for another three adult novels and two more YAs. 2013
Although this book has all of the danger and excitement of the previous 10 books in this series, I was a bit disappointed with it. It's the next-to-last book with only 31 days left to go in the year that Cal had to solve the riddle of his family's ancient secret and unlock a great treasure. By book's end only one of the minor mysteries in the series has been resolved, and even that one isn't complete with details. I feel like there's too much left undone and unsaid to possibly fit into the one remaining book of 31 days that's left! I hope the author proves me wrong and it isn't all rushed through at the end. I see that the last book- December- has more pages than the rest of the books.
november starts off from when cal threw the can of special fx and it failed as cops closed in from all around him but suddenly the can goes off giving cal a chance to escape but this lasts only a couple minutes as there hot on his tail again. this is a pretty good book to the series and i would recommend this to people who read october
This book is about a boy called Callum trying to track down and work out what the Ormond Singularity is. My favourite of the story is at the end when everyone like Rafe Ormond, Eric Blair, Nelson Sharkey and Winter, Cal, and Boges are all double crossing each other. My favourite character is Callum because he shows that even though you are a teen fugitive, being chased by everyone from major criminals, ex-detectives, police and his own family, while his friends are the only people he can trust.
When all things prove to fail, it can always be worse.

November is a hard book for me to review. This entire series is so frustrating because somehow, despite the simplistic and often dull plotlines, the gullible characters and lack of mystery-solving, they are addictive. I couldn't have stopped reading the series even if I wanted to because it leaves so much unanswered at the end of each book so that you are left simply begging for more information. You are forced to keep reading. Now I am so close to the end, so close, and I find that I am a little sad for it to be over. You might not understand since I haven't rated any of the books over three stars and they are mediocre at best but I don't want them to stop quite yet. Maybe its because I have devoted so much time to the series or something. I am not sure but there is only one more book to go!
What I enjoyed most about this one was that all of the book was devoted to progress. Cal and his friends, Winter and Boges, are dedicated to getting themselves out of this mess now - really dedicated. I think the deadline has scared them all a bit. There is only 31 days left. 31 days! There is so much to do and discover still and it has left them in a bit of a panic.
I simply loved that we are getting to see more and more of Winter as well. I simply love her character and it was great that in November was got to learn about her past, her parents and everything that led her to her life with Sligo. Her story is much harsher than we are led to believe and it actually bought tears to my eyes. How devastating! There is a moment where Cal reflects on how much Winter has changed since they first met back in January or February. How he was once so sure she was a hardened thug doing Sligo's dirty work and how now she is one of his closest friends, a kind, funny and sensitive girl. I have to agree. I love how much she has progressed since we met her.
The plotline wasn't very action-packed in this one though but it wasn't boring by any means. I liked that it focused on wrapping things up and focused on trying to get ready for December 31st. What wasn't handled well at all was the "big revelation". Everyone picked up on that back in the first few books so how they thought it was going to be shocking baffles me but I am just thankful its out in the air... finally!
Overall, this book was one of the better one of the series, possibly my favourite. It had a strong storyline, great character progress and a fantabulous ending - which was also devastating! I need December now. I cannot believe that the would end on such a cliffhanger. Is Gabrielle Lord trying to kill me!?
The timeline to find the Ormond Singularity is counting down and EVERYONE is after Cal! The police are closing in so Cal can't risk staying at Winter's anymore, Winter learns the truth about Sligo's involvement with her parent's death **SPOILER: He cut the brakes, like everyone guessed**, Cal learns the truth about the twin baby abduction and who Ryan Spencer is **SPOILER #2: Cal and Ryan were the abducted babies and they're twins. #shocker**, Winter steals money from Sligo's "grab bag" in the sum of $10,000 which allows Sharkey to be able to get Cal a fake passport so he can go to Ireland to finish the mystery.
"November" is back to the "unbelievable antics/escapes" of previous books, but probably the most unbelievable part is it's already NOVEMBER and Cal STILL isn't in Ireland!! EVERYTHING is going to be solved in the last book? Really??
Conspiracy 365 November by Gabrielle Lord in present day Australia. The protagonist is Callum Ormond. Callums family is cursed with a treasure that many criminals are trying to steal. He is 15 years old and has been framed with kidnapping his sister and many other crimes. Callum now has to prove he’s innocent and find the family treasure before the criminals. I liked the book because it’s interesting as soon as you start reading and it never loses that interest. I also liked how the author tied the mystery in with the action it made the book more interesting. Overall I think it was good book. People who like action and mystery should read this book. Because the author does a good job at tying both in the story.
*reading the back of the book* Uh-oh. A FRIEND might die? I bet it's Winter *while reading* Yep. I predict Winter, and she's the reason for Revenge
Called it. So far, she COULD be just drugged, but Cal referenced her being cold, and that's a sure sign of dead. It makes sense though, since she was raised by Sligo and had massive connections to the organized crime world. I think Revenge is going to be about taking down Sligo for Winter.
I think Cal's going to have to go to Ireland ALONE, especially because of the tightened manhunt. Watching him escape airport security should be exciting.
Twin's name is Samuel/Ryan Spencer. Hopefully everything will tie together and end well.

1 - read in order, 2 - there is a reminder of what happened last month at the beginning, 3 - fast-paced, 4 - ends in the middle of something exciting going on. You will want to jump from one Book right into the next.
Seems similar to 39 Clues though I think (if I remember right) that the kids were younger in that book. This one is better because it is all written by the same author. 39 Clues began to feel like it wasn’t thought out much ahead of time because of the authors thing. I never finished it because I started reading before all the books had been published...
This book revealed so much, and the pieces of the puzzle slowly are starting to fall into place, faster than before, but still slowly. I'm glad . The clock is ticking, and I need to read the last book before something bad happens to Cal! I can't keep him stuck in the danger I left him in at the end of the book!
The final month is almost here, The Ormond Singularity almost cracked, and the time left almost concluded. The race to whatever the prize is remains between many people, some that are unknown to Cal, Winter, And Boges. With such a great author it is impossible not to think that twists are coming. I am very excited to read the rest of the series. Good Book, 5 stars, I am loving the series.
November has my favorite opening sequence as well as the best cliffhanger! My heart is pumping! What's going to happen to Boges? to Winter? to Cal?! How will this all end? December had better not disappoint!
de elfde maand al en het einde nadert. ook dit boek was weer spannend maar soms best wel voorspelbaar maar het einde was weer erg spannend. ben erg benieuwd naar hoe het af zal lopen niet alleen met Cal maar ook met Winter.
I read November (Conspiracy 365 #11).It was a great book and Cal got into a lot of trouble and encounters with old enemies.First he was stilling running from the police because he threw the smoke grenade at the church and someone was trying to shoot Rafe so he threw the smoke grenade. He almost got caught until he threw Special FX but it didn't work and after 5 minutes or so it went off and it was very bright like an flash grenade which blinds the retina's temporarily. Then he Callum was crawling on the grass trying to find the road or a back road to get out of there then he found a way and started running until they found him again and the helicopter had the light on him so he couldn't escape until he ran through some yards and then he met Ryan/Twin Brother. They switch clothes and Ryan started running so Cal could get out of the police situation. He fell asleep at Winter's apartment and found out that the police are going there because they haven't search that part of the town yet so he gets spotted and runs back into Winter's house and his only escape is jumping out a window which he did that. He ran all the way to his old friend's tree house and he is going to hide out there done searching down by Winter's. Boges came and brought Cal some food and beverages so he could live there. Then he left and Cal fell asleep. The next morning Winter came up and told Cal that the cops got Boges for questioning because they think they know he is friends with Callum. Later that day he was going to meet one of his dad's friends to talk about the The Ormond Singularity but while he was waiting someone pulled up and took Cal and took him to a mansion. He went into this room and Durham Toe Cutter was in there and they talked for a while and then he told Cal that he and his friend kidnapped Callum and his twin brother Ryan but Cal got left in a abandoned factory and Ryan was kidnapped and was never found but he is living with Durham's wife's friend so Cal's mother thought her son was dead/missing.Cal went to the tree house and called his Uncle Rafe and told him Ryan was still alive and he was going to tell his mom but she couldn't take anymore damage to her family. The next morning he called his dad's friend and see if they could meet in an hour and so they did. They talked for one hour or 2 and then he called his other friend to see if his passport was ready to leave to Ireland to finish his dad's work and so Cal won't be getting in trouble anymore.Later that day he was being followed by a old policemen who chased after Cal and they started to go in the football game and Cal ran onto the field and then Cal's identity got identified and his face was seen and then he ran into a locker room and there rwas 5 policemen coming and the boss.So he was trapped until he seen the mascot outfit and he put that on and looked lifeless and he stayed in there for 2 hours straight. Then he left the game and went back to the tree house and told boges about the story. The next morning Winter texted Cal and told him to meet him at the beach but then he had a incoming call from his friend and told him to meet him at the gym.So while he was walking to the gym he saw two people staring him down and he started to run then he got tackled and they started to put him in a car but his friend just got in time to save him and said he was an agent and said you got the wrong kid. Then they started to go separate ways because the police force got bigger. Later that day he went to the beach and tried to find winter but he couldn't then someone ran after him but it was his friend Griff Kirby. He told Cal that he seen Winter get kidnapped and ran to where she got kidnapped and there was a message from her peer.So Cal and Griff started to go to Sligo's car lot and Cal seen the two people who had kidnapped him before and then they heard them say 'then she ready to go' 'ok thanks boss'.Cal said did he mean something else or Winter. Then they started to go up the stairs and Griff accidently jumped and hit a rock and made a big noise. The 2 kidnappers got Griff and Cal and they put them in the box where winter might be.Then there was messages on the phone and it said my poor daughter found out that I killed her parents.
The book "Conspiracy 365: November" was easily the best book of this 12-book series! The book starts with Cal escaping the police force by running them around town before eventually losing them. He then some how survives the next few days by barely avoiding capture. Then, a crazy amount of meetings with his allies and enemies trying to figure out his plan on trying to fly over to Ireland. Once captured by the infamous "Toe-Cutter" (who is in bad condition and dying) Cal is told that he and Ryan Spencer are twins who he abducted and Cal was the one returned to his family. This means that Ryan Spencer had lived his life under a fake name and was adopted from a young age. The book ends with Cal and an ally being captured by Sligo's henchmen after receiving word that Winter had been captured. They find her dead body in the dark, and listen to Cal's voicemails. I wouldn't change anything about this book because it was just so good! I would recommend this book to anybody who likes a book full of action-packed events and mysteries throughout. I can't wait to read the final book and reveal all the mysteries about the DMO!

After he saves his uncle from an assassin, Cal is on the run from the police yet again. They’re more determined than ever to catch him, especially after the kidnapping allegations that Oriana is facing. Though they don’t make much progress concerning what to do about the Singularity, they’re building the blocks and preparing for their final month of time.
Book 11 of 12 isn’t going to make any major changes to the structure or layout. It’s written in first person from Cal’s perspective. We still get a few newspaper clippings and blog posts, though no other images, as they’ve figured them all out. There are 179 pages, counting backwards to 001 again.
The main concern of this book is whether Sligo will discover Winter’s duplicity, and how they’re all going to get to Ireland to find the last two lines of the Riddle – the first six which they don’t have either. It’s kind of hard to believe that they can get it all done in the next book. Ryan Spencer also makes a valiant return! And Cal finally learns why, exactly, they look identical.
The trio continues to be as close as ever, though with the cops closing in, Cal has to be more careful where he stays. Sharkey is a great help as always, even if he’s not around most of the time, and I keep waiting for him to double cross them – because of his name (usually names have hidden clues in books). Cal contacts Rafe again, and it seems like Rafe cares, but I still don’t trust him either. Since the banquet, Sligo and Oriana have teamed up, which makes them so much more dangerous to Cal, but luckily, Winter has a plan.
The mystery and intrigue are great, and though in the past books, the lack of information bothered me, it didn’t in this book. We’re finally getting answers! Though there are some things revealed in this book that feel retconned; it didn’t read that way in the previous books.
Conspiracy theory 365 november by Gabrielle Lord is about a 15 year old child fugitive hunted by the police, cartels, and highly trained contract killers on the daily. He has no one to be by his side but his three friends Repro, Bodges, and Winter. In this book the hunt continues but with Toecutter durham now in the mix things are going to get ugly. Some things I dislike about this book is all of the suspense. it is just a little to much for one to be going through in one time and it makes it seem more unrealistic. I love how the characters all play a very crucial part in this series and how everything falls together in the end. I just love the whole sieres in general. I recommend this book to anyone that loves constant thrillers and constant action and if you are a guy and do not like to read this would be a very good starter book for you to get in to.
Conspiracy 365: November is another adventure-filled month in the life of Cal Ormond. Cal is getting closer and closer to the deadline for him to solve the mystery of the Ormond Singularity. He doesn't have the Ormond Riddle. He doesn't have the Ormond Jewel. And he must somehow get halfway around the world to Ireland. Time is running out and Cal is going to have to move fast if he wants to solve the mystery that has been plaguing him for almost a year now.
Having now read eleven of the twelve books in this action-packed series, I can safely say that I absolutely love these books. Each book brings Cal a little closer to solving the mystery of the Ormond Singularity, and it is all going to end in the twelfth and final book. Cal is somehow going to have to make his way to Ireland while avoiding the police, Sligo and Oriana de la Force. I don't know how he going to do that, but I look forward to finding out how it all ends.
Young readers should really get into this series that will leave them gnawing off their fingernails while sitting on the edge of their seat flipping pages later into the night. The books are fast-paced, packed with action and adventure, filled with daring chases and escapes, and stuffed with the biggest mystery of all time. Plus, I cannot forget the wonderful lead characters that make this entire series work so well.
Gabrielle Lord has created something quite extraordinary in the Conspiracy: 365 series that should not be missed by any young reader. Like I said at the beginning of the series; these books are like FOX's television series 24, but for a younger audience. Cal has one year of his life to solve the clues his dead father left behind. He has been on the run now for eleven months and it all comes down to what is going to happen in December. Will he be able to make his way to Ireland and finally put an end to all the drama that has been unfolding in his life since January? All he wants to do is to have this bi mess end so he can go home and live with his mother and his sister, Gabby.
Overall, Conspiracy 365: November is another great book and a terrific series that I highly recommend to all readers, just not young ones. The series grabs you, shakes you around a bit, and leaves you lying breathless on the floor as you finish each book. I cannot wait to find out how it all ends in the final book, Conspiracy 365: December. Bring it on!
Gabrielle Lord does a great job with this whole series. I have finished book 11, November. The Conspiracy 365 series is one of if not my favorite series I have read. I couldn't even imagine what it would be like being Cal in this situation he is in. This is one of the best books out of the series, and I really enjoyed reading it. I was shocked when Cal found out the news, but I won't tell you, you will have to read the book to find out.
I started reading this, and from the first page I knew I would have to finish it. This book is packed with action, and you never know what will happen next. I can feel how Cal feels running away from the police, but I couldn't ever think about what it would be like in real life. I love how they find a place to hide in the tree house, where they were as a kid and now no one will look there. This book is really suspenseful, and I really like that. Lord talks about the news Cal gets that most people probably wouldn't believe it. If you read this, you will be impressed with the suspense and the action in the book. I was thinking "Oh my gosh" when Cal received the news.
I recommend this book to people who love suspense in books, or just in general. Also, people who are interested in criminals on the loose should read this book. Everyone who reads this should feel the suspense, it is incredible. I really recommend this book to everyone, it is such a great novel and everyone should read it.
