I had a hard time getting into this book. For the first half, I was so unsure of the "who, what, when" of the plot, that I didn't even think of the "why." The second half was a bit more coherent to me, but I probably wouldn't have made it that far if I weren't going to discuss it in class.

Read for a class on LA women's writers. Didn't really grab me. Although I understood the purpose and stylistic choice, the rambling repetitious nature just bored me.
