The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of The Desert by Stephen Elliott – a few hundred films and books are reviewed on my blog, where the best beano is this https://realinibarzoi.blogspot.com/20...

8 out of 10

This is not a phenomenal motion picture, but there are some important points it makes, plus, with MAGA rolling on, crushing alliances, pushing the war hero Zelensky out of the White House, because he warned them about their favorite dictator, and, perhaps, wearing a war outfit, during an invasion of his country, by the said buddy of the crazy MAGAs, one needs a comedy, especially one that could be banned soon

- In the once celebrated, greatest democracy in the world, now just a would-be Russia like empire

Tick aka Hugo Weaving and Adam played by Guy Pearce are two drag performers, or drag queens, something that is anathema in MAGA circles, they are all in for the ultimate made up drama queen, their reprehensible leader of that heinous cult, so there we have a good argument for watching this and giving the finger to

- The very dumb orange clown

Actually, his color is changing at times, he puts on a ton of paint, but in the past few weeks, comedians have remarked on the different hue – spoiler alert of a different, Third Kind, it will get gross, because the subject is such a base individual – this is the color of shit, more than orange, because, well, this is what there is in that head
Tick is convincing a trans woman, Bernadette played by wonderful Terence Stamp, to join a tour, all the way to Alice Springs, which is showing temperatures of fifty degrees Celsius, when they give you the weather report, on BBC

There are tensions there, which can cause some laughter, or amusement, if not overwhelming, but hey, this is an element of Transcendence, the other being appreciation of excellence and beauty, hope, gratitude and spirituality, as identified by Martin Seligman, the co-founder of Positive Psychology, author of splendid books

- One great work is Flourish https://realinibarzoi.blogspot.com/20...

This is where you find one formula for Flourish, Happiness and it is PERMA aka Positive Emotions, Engagement or Flow, Relationships (happiest humans share strong bonds with family and friends, not wealth), Meaning and Achievement and there is a connection here that we can use to speak of Guy Pearce…
He has been nominated for an Oscar, for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role, for his work in The Brutalist (Adrien Brody won his second Academy Award for this one) and studies show that, in terms of achievement, thespians that win live longer than those who do not, at the aforementioned ceremonies

This comedy might help people be appreciative, tolerant of minorities – at the sauna where we have dialogues, every working day, there are these MAGA, fans if the orange monkey (and I am sorry I insult the animals with this) who use their adversity towards the LGBTQ+ communities to explain their admiration of the cacaniu buffoon, shitty, spoiled, absurd, narcissistic, deranged, brutal, stupid, offensive ‘president’

Now for my standard closing of the note with a question, and invitation – maybe you have a good idea on how we could make more than a million dollars with this https://realinibarzoi.blogspot.com/20... – as it is, this is a unique technique, which we could promote, sell, open the Oscars show with or something and then make lots of money together, if you have the how, I have the product, I just do not know how to get the befits from it, other than the exercise per se

There is also the small matter of working for AT&T – this huge company asked me to be its Representative for Romania and Bulgaria, on the Calling Card side, which meant sailing into the Black Sea wo meet the US Navy ships, travelling to Sofia, a lot of activity, using my mother’s two bedrooms flat as office and warehouse, all for the grand total of $250, raised after a lot of persuasion to the staggering $400…with retirement ahead, there are no benefits, nothing…it is a longer story, but if you can help get the mastodont to pay some dues, or have an idea how it can happen, let me know

As for my role in the Revolution that killed Ceausescu, a smaller Mao, there it is http://realini.blogspot.com/2022/03/r...

Some favorite quotes from To The Hermitage and other works

‘Fiction is infinitely preferable to real life...As long as you avoid the books of Kafka or Beckett, the everlasting plot of fiction has fewer futile experiences than the careless plot of reality...Fiction's people are fuller, deeper, cleverer, more moving than those in real life…Its actions are more intricate, illuminating, noble, profound…There are many more dramas, climaxes, romantic fulfillment, twists, turns, gratified resolutions…Unlike reality, all of this you can experience without leaving the house or even getting out of bed…What's more, books are a form of intelligent human greatness, as stories are a higher order of sense…As random life is to destiny, so stories are to great authors, who provided us with some of the highest pleasures and the most wonderful mystifications we can find…Few stories are greater than Anna Karenina, that wise epic by an often foolish author…’
