This is a very brief, very colorful introduction to the land and people of modern Egypt. Animal life, the Nile River, deserts, and weather round out the physical description of the country. The cultural description includes mention of religion, language, popular pastimes, traditional foods, and Egyptian holidays. Quick facts and top landmarks round out this brief book. There is no reference to the history or politics of Egypt.
