For a complete, thorough, albeit introductory overview of German AFVs of WWII, this is the book to get without question. It presents all models and their variants, with short technical and operational background texts, along with numerous pictures taken from archives.
Not a perfect book to be sure, it is, in my opinion, unique both in its scope and format, and that is what makes its usefulness. Pictures are sometime of very poor quality and editing left much to be desired. But five stars nonetheless.
Note: This review is nothing but an edited cut-and-paste version of my review of its UK & US Tanks counteparts from the same author, which I just as strongly recommend.
