Sabrina is taking part in a spelling contest. She and one other girl are the two finalists. The other girl is part of the McFadden family which really hates the Spellmans. They defeated them in the past but only by cheating.

Sabrina wins and gets a reality check, something she can use only one time in order to change something. She's going to need it.

Salem goes nuts on an online auction site.
A McFadden has spelled both Hilda and Zelda.
Zelda could lose her proposal for a project she wants to do.
Both of them could use a clock shop they own.
Harvey can lose a car he was given and be kicked out of school.
Mr. Kraft could lose his job at the school.
A girl Sabrina knows is a witch but not exactly a really proficient one who causes problems at school.

But; Sabrina's reality check can solve only one single problem. Who gets it? Whose need will reign supreme? Or will anyone's?

A cute story although I do think Kraft went way above board on handing out detentions.

A perfect book to practice speed reading...

This actually has a decent plot and storyline and I was surprised to find that this isn't just an adapted TV episode. I almost gave it 2 stars because some of the writing is rather confusing - some sentences don't make sense - bad editing perhaps?

I almost gave up half way through but took it as an opportunity to practice speed reading. One of the things I struggle with is regression/back-skipping. It's a bad habit and it's probably exacerbated by being a programmer where every letter is important to make a program run correctly. I don't like to miss things.

Not really caring about this book, I was able to force my eyes to just keep going, even if I totally missed what was happening. With this practice, my brain eventually started to catch up and I wasn't really missing anything, even though I was reading much faster than usual.

I loved all of the Sabrina tales full of magic. Every story was a different adventure and some new and exciting challenge to overcome. These books made me want to have magical powers too but the ending results were hilarious.
