I loved these stories when I was younger, and it's so important to have stories where girls save the day, to teach young girls that they, too, can be heroes, especially in a time where it has been proved that girls as young as 6 years old don't think they're as capaple as boys of activities that require brilliance.
I was born on June 1, 1941. My first home was an apartment in Manhattan's Upper West Side, a neighborhood that overlooked the George Washington Bridge.
