Simple read, but very sweet. I love that it introduces children to the idea that sometimes people are different or have things beyond their control that make them different, but that these individuals are just as valuable, strong and brave as anyone else.

I reread this series recently (now age 24). They are still just as wonderful as they were when I read them as a kid. Highly recommend!
