A murder in the basement of the United Nations, which is essentially a country of its own in which membership have diplomatic immunity. Crimes are investigated within and this one falls to the duty of Sam Windrush, a deputy in UN legal affairs. But Sam is operating at a huge disadvantage. Misinformation, misdirection, and corruption from above and all around him in the UN headquarters thwart his progress to find the killer.

Vrij spannend boek. Onvoorspelbaar. Wie echter niet vertrouwd is met bureaucratie zal dit boek niet interessant vinden. Desalniettemin een aanrader.

Gripping. Liked the plot. It was a bit languagey, though.
