Today's thrift store find. I was so happy to find another Demi to add to our collection! Beautiful illustrations inside and Fu Dogs dance on the cover.

Not my favorite for illustrations. However each page has a different fable. And being fables there is always a "point" at the end - a life truth to put into action. So a thoughtful teacher reading this to their class, could do a fable a day and then encourage the children to memorize the wisdom and find a way to put it into play as they go about their day.

This book has wonderful colors and great fables that everyone should hear daily. The author did a clever thing in the beginning with the mirror so that the pictures could be reflected off of it.
