Growing Up: A Lifelong Journey

Are we growing up as people? Growing Up is an 8-wk spiritual formation experience i paying attention to, and aligning our lives with, God's ongoing good work in this world, our community, and in our unique lives. Three baseline reflective questions will be introduced: Who is God? Who am I? What am I to do with my life? Throughout the 8 conversations, participants explore themes of discipleship, discovery and depth in Jesus' way. Particular attention is paid to the book of Ephesians. Readers will listen together and respond to the echo of Paul's exhortation, "We must no longer be children...but we must grow up in every way into him, into Christ..." (Eph 4:14-16). What does it mean for us to grow up into Christ-maturity? And for each of us, what are next steps in paying attention to and aligning our unique lives with God's good and gracious work in the world today?
