Plot: Anasazi is the second book in the Sense of Truth series, and it picks up about a year after the first one left off. The main character is a young woman named Megan who never appears in the first book, but she is already a friend of David's. David is the first book's protagonist's ex-boyfriend. He texted Megan to come meet up with him in the Arizona desert, and already being keen on him, she didn't hesitate to hop on her motorcycle and head out there. But, David is nowhere to be found in th ...more

Anasazi was a quick and exciting read. It included plenty of humor, sassy remarks, and seemingly unrequited love.

The main character, Megan, was very interesting. She was an obvious bad chick with experience in martial arts and an interesting ability to get herself out of sticky situations. She was the humor within the book. Not only did she have a sarcastic remark for every unfortunate situation, but she had an uncanny ability to really get under the skin of those that didn't like her, and even

First off, I love the covers for both of the Sense of Truth books. This one is so striking with the coloring and her eyes. Lovely. Absolutely lovely.

One thing I found interesting with this book was that the character that carries over from the first book (David) doesn't put in an appearance until we're a good way through. Yet, by introducing us to Megan as our main character - someone who knew both main protagonists from book1 - we're given insight into David and Destiny and their complicated re

After reading The Thirteenth Chime, I was curious to see where Emma Michaels would take the idea of Sense. So imagine my surprise when David’s quest of Sense takes a back seat to a search for a missing David in the desert. David’s ex, Destiny does not make an appearance with the female lead taken by an old friend of theirs, Megan who has long had a crush on the noble David. Megan is more action orientated and the perfect lead on an adventure filled search for a missing friend.

The town Megan find

This was amazing I loved the whole history of things, Emma has done it again with another amazingly beautiful story. I was up most nights thinking about what was happening and trying to desperately put together everything. I am still in love with David, he is the one to bring home you just want to grab him and hold on to him. I never knew of this legend so being introduced to it was amazing. Emma brought me in with her previous book and this is in my opinion another knockout, I loved every aspec ...more

Megan gets texts from David inviting her to come out to the desert to visit him for a week. Megan arrives and cannot find David anywhere. In the texts, there were pictures which serve as clues as to David’s whereabouts. Things start to happen that suggest to Megan that some people of the desert town that David was doing archeological research in, do not want her there poking around trying to find him. The depths of their friendship are tried by what Megan has to go through to discover what is re ...more

Anasazi is the 2nd novel in the Sense of Truth series. It wasn’t as creepy as The Thirteenth Chime but it was still a good and easy read. Anasazi follows Megan a friend of David’s and Destiny. I really enjoyed her character even though I was hoping that this novel would be mostly about David. But Megan’s character was a refreshing taking on the female lead character. Megan isn’t the push over type of girl and I loved that about her. She is more the take charge type and puts disrespectful men in ...more

I like the second book of this series more than I liked the first. Sorry I forgot to update about this book and now I've read three since this one! It was a good book and I'm looking forward to the continued story of David.
