The first in this series featuring half demon brothers who struggle to do the right thing. In this book we see the eldest brother Keegan trying to protect Brynn who isn't quite as ordinary as she thinks from his own father no less ! Keegans father has spent countless resources searching for a magic book that can resurrect the dead but only one of a certain bloodline can recite the necessary spell. Yes you've guessed it Brynn is the last of her line but she has no idea just what she's about to ...more

Okay I think I may have found a new series to be obsessed about.

I LOVE this book. I have one minor gripe though, hence the 4.5 star rating. Though I loved the world building here, the set up for each brothers' character, and the whole plot/point of why we are reading about these people; I wasn't all that in love with the couple.

Keegan & Brynn. Though I totally love these two as individuals, and they did have some touching, hot moments together, I just couldn't fully get behind

Brynn Meyers is a not so ordinary woman with a small art gallery in New York City. When a handsome man comes into the the shop just before closing, her female interest is peaked. That is until he plants a fiver upside her jaw. Keegan and his brothers are more or less demon cops/bounty hunters for an multidimensional council. They've been sent to Earth to keep Brynn from starting the apocalypse. Kind of an auspicious beginning for a passionate love story, huh?

Blood of the Demon I felt had a little bit of everything, with a variety of paranormal beings, romance, action and holding your breath moments. The story reminded me a lot of Lara Adrian’s Midnight Breed Series and Gena Showalter’s Lord of the Underworld Series. Rosalie Lario has four prominent male characters as her leads and each

So, this is me reading this book...

This is the case where I almost think I should just paste my notes that I took while I was reading the book. Alas, I will not and will actually make an attempt at a comprehensive review.

My thoughts were pretty much the same regarding the book up until about 80% of the way through. If I could describe this book I would say it's a sub-par young adult book with sex thrown in. Honestly, in my personal opinion, the writing of this book was not

Brynn always thought of herself as a relatively normal girl, until she was abducted and held prisoner by a handsome stranger. Keegan and his brothers were tasked to find Brynn and keep her from their father, a dangerous enemy, at ALL costs. The enemy needed the key to unlock an ancient book and gain absolute power. Because of her distant demonic bloodline, Brynn was the only key. Keegan is torn between saving an entire population and saving Brynn’s life.

Blood of The Demon is a very good read

This is a C read for me.

Conceptually it was cool. I Loved the different dimensions, and spin on Angels and Demons. I liked the demons themselves. My problem lay with the way the characters were written. It was very shallow. They had depth, but we are told a few things, but not shown them. For example, the hero and heroine are talking and it slips out that the heroine was kidnapped when she was eleven, tied, and near being raped, then that's the end of the discussion. It was just thrown in

Blood of the Demon from the "Demons of Infernum" by ROSALIE LARIO is now one of my favorite books in this genre. I loved the world she created and the characters that live in this new world. This series includes four half Brothers that are all GORGEOUS. They were sired by the same evil demon but by four very different supernatural/fae mothers. The mothers were all strategically picked for their gifts, powers, and abilities to pass on to his sons. Blood of the Demon had been on my TBR list for a while when my awesome blog team leader, Jodie, asked me if I'd like to review it. Naturally I jumped at the chance to read it. Boy, am I happy that I got to read this too. It was a good start to what appears is going to be a fantastic series.

After being raised by their cruel, sadistic father, Keegan and his 3 half-brothers have gone to work for the Council as enforcers. What more could I want in a book; demons, the apocalypse, hunky bounty hunters and a conflicted hero that is torn between love and duty? All are elements I am instantly attracted to in a book. Also, the book cover, though subtle, attracted me. I like the combination of colors and the subtle flames of the red rising up to the cool blue of the lovers.

The story starts out quickly but then drags a bit through the introduction and story setup. Once that is through, the story pacing gets better as it

What would you do if you found out you were the key to causing the end of your world?

Keegan and his brothers are bounty hunters. No, they’re not like Dog the Bounty Hunter; they’re demon bounty hunters who travel between dimensions for their prey. Their latest assignment is to find and destroy the only human capable of a zombie apocalypse, Brynn. Only problem is, they aren’t the only ones looking for her, and if she falls into the wrong hands,

Hm... okay Demons and an artist who owns an art gallery. Yep, I had to read this one. It was a moral imperative! Brynn is the artist and was kidnapped by Keegan and his brothers, all half demons. She is a wanted commodity in their world all because of a long ago ancestor who dared to defy a council who oversees dimensions. She is the key to awakening a army of zombies. Keegan falls for Brynn and together they try to find away to thwart evil. Evil Keegan is very familiar with.

I have to say that I

I really liked the story concept. I could see the background scenes very clearly like the apartment and her store. I also thought her power was cool. The sex scene were also very hot and the ending surprised me which is good.

My issue with the book had to with the male characters. They were all demons from a demon world, but all were too soft. I thought making them gritty would add edge, but she never went there. Because of that, I thought the dialogue suffered. Sometimes, this book felt like a

This book has dragon, fae, angel, demon, and succubi, which is my mind a true paranormal romance. Well I was not disappoint reading the story. I love all viewpoints with the hero and heroine and loved receiving other characters thoughts too. As for the the villain point of view....I love it. I enjoyed his side and he was crazy. You know the story is good when the fan can't wait to see what else the villain is thinking.

Fans will smile for the sexy hero, stand by the the smart, courageous heroine,

Blood of the Demon was a hawt, fast paced and gripping read. Lario created an intriguing world of demon's and hybrids that won't let you go. The romance between Keegan and Brynn was so hawt, I needed a seriously cold drink on several occasions.

Totally enjoyed this and I hope Taeg's story is next. :)

Brynn Meyers didn't know it, but the moment a tall, gorgeous stranger walked into her art gallery and drew her attention away from the use of her psychometric ability to gawk at his perfect body and shake his hand, her life was about to change forever. With his free hand clenched in a huge fist, Keegan knocked her out cold, then he kidnapped her.

But he felt really bad about it.

Brynn was such a strong woman. I really enjoyed how she didn't back down from Keegan or his brothers. She didn't freak out about any of the strange stuff they were telling her. Keegan didn't want to have feelings for Brynn, but he couldn't help it. His brothers even admired her at the end of the book. Brynn was great the way she stood up to Mammon and the Council. It was a fast moving book and I really enjoyed it.

I'd give this a solid 3. The plot was interesting, but I felt it just jumped all over the place and the ending seemed to have happened before I even realized it. Keegan glanced at Brynn, who was staring at Ronin with an expression of disbelief. He switched back to English. "This is our younger brother, Ronin."

"Of course he is." Brynn let out an incredulous chuckle. "Did they specifically breed you guys in a lab or something?"

He exchanged a confused look with Ronin. What did that mean?

Bryn must have caught the look, because she explained, "Since you're all so hot, I mean.”
