After complaining about the stupidity of several beginning reader books, it is nice to have one I enjoyed. Fun stories, interesting characters, and silly twists in the story make this one a joy to read. By the way, this is one of those books where the main characters often argue with each other. Some people may be bothered by that, but I think it was done in a sufficiently silly way to not be a problem.

I enjoyed Reading this book because it showed that you can have friends that are different from you but ultimately make you better. This would be a great read for a young children's classroom because it has plenty of adventures of two pirates and although that they are different from each other they still compromise and are good friends.

"Yo Ho Ho" super fun pirate book! A small chapter chapter book that follows the adventures of two good friends Captain (the Captain of the boat) and Matey his first mate. They seem to always argue over everything but in the end they come up with a compromise together.. And in the end of the story they realize how special they are to one another.

Temas says, "I didn't like it cuz there weren't really interesting parts. I didn't like anything about it."

We didn't finish the book since neither of us was interested in it.

MCL. I liked the songs they sang and when Matey wanted to keep dishes and napkins in the treasure chest.

A solid story about pirates and a good introduction to some larger words. The pirates do engage in traditional pirate activity, including mentions of rum.
